Andrea Franceschini is a Numerical Analysis researcher in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering at the University of Padua. He studies the mathematical and numerical modeling of fractures in saturated porous media. His work focuses primarily on developing numerical models to simulate the initiation and propagation of fractures and faults. More recently, his research has also explored the coupling between contact mechanics and fluid dynamics.
