Federico Raspini is Associate Professor of Physical Geography and Geomorphology at the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Florence. He obtained a Master degree in Geological Sciences in 2008 and a PhD in Earth Sciences in 2013. His research covers several aspects of mapping, characterization, and monitoring of ground deformations, including the application of satellite and ground-based interferometric techniques. He has actively participated in several international projects funded by Space Agencies and by the European Commission and is currently involved in H2020 and ECHO projects, as well as within numerous national initiatives with the Italian Civil Protection Department and in projects with local authorities.
