Associate Professor in Stratigraphy and Sedimentology at the Department of Chemical and Geological Sciences of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He holds a Master degree in Geological Sciences and a PhD in Earth Sciences. He’s expert in Quaternary stratigraphy of alluvial and coastal deposits, paleosol stratigraphy and geological mapping. He took part in national and international research projects and coordinated projects of Italian geological mapping.
